    Hi friends,

    The plugin worked nicely for me during the first 5 automatic posts or so.

    But then it stopped working, and twitter says my tweets are automated (which is true).

    Now my account is blocked, both for automatic tweets, and manual tweets.

    What to do?

    The error message is as follows (both on the plugin’s logs and on Twitter itself) when I try to automatically or manually post something:

    “This request looks like it might be automated. To protect our users from spam and other malicious activity, we can’t complete this action right now. Please try again later.”

    Additionally, on Twitter when manually posting I get this: “Something went wrong, but don’t fret — let’s give it another shot.”

    Hi, I did some research on this and it can be because of a number of things. I have found some articles that might help:

    You might want to stop sharing for a few days to let the Twitter algorithm ease the block on your account. I’m not sure what type of content you’re sharing but that can also be a factor.

    If you don’t have your phone number connected to your Twitter account then you should connect it.

    Sharing to Twitter via their API is totally supported. But these sort of things, unfortunately, happen sometimes as the Twitter platform actively tries to protect users from Spam and malicious activity. Some false possitives do happen. I’d recommend performing the solutions in the above articles and waiting a week or two before trying to post again
