Howdy? This may seem long…it’s a newbie’s question!

I’m perhaps the newest forum member. I’ve been trying to create to a Website for a burgeoning Music Artist. Now the site is intended to sell individual tracks or the entire album as well as music video.

I’ve tried Drupal Commerce which I have used in the past to create an eCommerce site for a Fitness Shop but poor documentation on selling digital products made decide to try out WordPress last Friday. since sunday evening I’ve been reading through the wordpress settings, the ideams of themes and plugin. I came across WooCommerce and Easy Digital Download. Today I came across WP eStore.

Visitors should be able to play sample of each track or video before making a decision to buy. Will this play required a separate plugin. Will this plugin come at a fee. If yes, cost?

Between eStore and EDD which do you recommend for my purpose and what will the plugin expenses amount to?

Also I would love to master WordPress as I have Drupal. From creating Custom Themes or Modifying Themes to creating Plugin, what’s the best resource to look to?
