Hi @kosakkas,
Thank you for reaching out and for your kind words about our plugin.
To confirm, it seems like the issue you’re encountering is related to the EAN assignment during the import process using WP All Import Pro. From your description, it appears that the same EAN is being assigned to all variations of the product.
Please let me know if my interpretation aligns with your concern or if there are any additional details you’d like to share.
Kind regards.
Hi @moshtafizur01,
My initial impression was that it was caused only when importing products via the WP All Import Pro plugin. However I tested it further. I edited a product’s variants directly, and manually assigned each and every variant the same EAN, and this behavior in the “All Products” view occurred yet again, exactly the same way.
Kind regards.
Hi @kosakkas,
Sorry for the late reply.
Could you please go to the WooCommerce > Settings > EAN > Advanced and set the JavaScript Variation Options > Closest container to.single-product
and see if the issue persists?
Kind regards,
Moshtafziur
Hi @moshtafizur01,
I navigated to the path you shared, and changed the closest container value from .summary
to .single-product
.
I can’t really tell a difference in the output in the All Products page.
Kind Regards,
Konstantinos.
Hi @kosakkas,
Thanks for your reply.
I have escalated this with our development team. They will back to you as soon as possible.
Kind regards.
Hi, @kosakkas,
Please update the plugin to the latest v4.9.2 – now there is a new “Admin products list column > Show duplicates” checkbox (in “WooCommerce > Settings > EAN > General”) – you’ll need to turn it off.
Please give it a try and let me know what you think.
