I use this plugin and “Custom Product Addons” plugin. The problem is that this plugin cannot convert the optional prices in products.

I have riched the team of “Custom Product Addons plugin” and this is their answer:

“we reached out to the support team of the currency switcher plugin for assistance, but unfortunately, we did not receive a response from them. We kindly request that you also contact the support team of the currency switcher plugin and inquire if they can provide any scripts or methods for identifying the currency conversion rate when switching currencies. We can only fix this issue, if they provide any scripts to identify the currency conversion rate to our plugin.”

Do you have any answer or suggestion to solv this issue?

What’s the plugin URL? I don’t have any requests from developers.
I’m happy to help if they have a specific question.
In any case, I think that any WordPress developer should be able to read the plugin code to build an integration.

While the developers of the “Custom Product Addons” work, you can review the compatibilities included in Price Based on Country in the “Compatibilities and Integrations” of the Free vs. Pro comparison table:

You’ll find an alternative plugin that will work.

Hi,

Thank you for your reply. I have sent a message to the “Custom Product Addons” team.

Here a link that you can check the items. If your IP is from Sweden it works correctly by currency “kr”. Otherwise when change currency the custom options price shows 0.

I can’t solve the issue. If you are looking for a compatible plugin, the PRO version includes full compatibility with Product Add-ons by WooCommerce plugin (https://www.pricebasedcountry.com/2018/11/08/woocommerce-product-add-ons-3-0-compatible/)

There is no plan to add compatibility with another “product add-ons” plugin.

Hi,

I am from developer team of WooCommerce Custom Product Addon plugin.

We got a javascript hook ‘wc_price_based_country_after_ajax_geolocation‘ from your code which trigger currency changes.

We want the currency conversion rate of particular currency when such trigger happens.

If you can help in this issue we can integrate easily to our plugin.

Hi,
The jQuery trigger wc_price_based_country_after_ajax_geolocation runs after the get_location AJAX call ends, and the prices of the page are refreshed. This feature allows the plugin to work with cache plugins:https://www.pricebasedcountry.com/docs/getting-started/geolocation-cache-support/

If you are looking for a way to change the amounts of the add-ons, you can use the function get_exchange_rate_price of the current pricing zone object.
An example :

Hi,

The problem exist only problem when the geo location based currency switching. Otherwise working well with your plugin. But it doesn’t works with cache.

We want to change addon option prices based on the currency.

If you give any javascript hook to identify the currency conversion rate while works with cache it will be helpful.

There is no javascript hook to identify the currency conversion rate.

As alternative, you can use the “AJAX geolocation” feature to refresh the “add-ons”:
- Wrapper the content using the “wc-price-based-country-refresh-area” class and data-area=”aco_custom_addons” (for example) and the extra data you need to render the add-ons in the “data-options” (here an example https://plugins.trac.wordpress.org/browser/woocommerce-product-price-based-on-countries/trunk/includes/class-wcpbc-widget-country-selector.php#L164)
- Then add the filter ‘wc_price_based_country_ajax_geolocation_aco_custom_addons_content’
  it gets as a parameter the value you set in data-options . The filter callback must render the add-ons. An example:
