    Hi,

I think I found a bug. I have disabled the “standard” TOC completly (all checkboxes deaktivated). I am just loading the TOC Sticky for “Posts” thats all.

That works fine. But I encounter the problem that although I am activating it only for “Posts”, the plugin starts to crawl the homepage and adds class=”ez-toc-section” to headers. This slows down the homepage significantly (2 times the normal loading time).

When I disable the TOC Sticky completly, the plugin stops adding the extra classes and site loading is normal again. The checkbox “Show the Sticky TOC for qualifying items on the homepage.” is NOT checked.

I also tried to show only on path of the blog posts but I think this setting is only for the “standard” toc.

I really like your plugin so far but this is a huge problem. There must be an option to deactivate the loading of the plugin for the homepage as it kills the loading speed.

Do you have any idea why this occurs. It would be really great if a fix would come, otherwise I coudn´t use it anymore 🙁

Thanks for your work and help!

Hi, We have just released the new update version 2.0.67.1. Kindly update the plugin once with the new version, clear the cache once and retry. Please let us know if issue persist.

    Hi,

thanks for the update. We were looking forward to it. We cleared all cache and tried again. But sadly the homepage is still slow and the class=”ez-toc-section” ist still added to every header tag.

Perhaps you can replicate this. Just deactivate the “normal” table of contents everywhere. Just activate the “sticky” one for posts. I think you will also see that the classes get added on homepage.

Still thanks for your work until now.

    Regards
