We’re excited to share our development plan and some of the exciting innovations and AI advancements we’ve been working on.

First, let’s talk about our next immediate release. We are about to launch a complete front-end overhaul of RegistrationMagic this week. We have been working on this update for last 10 weeks; it includes a rebuilt form field system, the removal of dependencies on old external libraries, the elimination of session usage on form, enhanced compatibility with cache plugins, and a streamlined code structure. These improvements will make it much easier for us to add new, user-demanded registration form fields, which is our next focus.

Additionally, we are excited to announce that RegistrationMagic AI, powered by OpenAI, is coming soon. This project will bring numerous innovation/AI features to the WordPress registration system. We will be sharing more details about this project close to the launch.

    Best regards,
    The RegistrationMagic Team

  • Dear RegistrationMagic Team,

Thank you for sharing your exciting development plans and upcoming innovations. As a dedicated user of RegistrationMagic for many of my clients’ websites, I appreciate the continuous improvements.

I have a few questions regarding the upcoming front-end revamp. My clients are currently happy and satisfied with the existing setup. Could you please elaborate on what exactly the front-end overhaul entails? Will this update require any changes or conversions on my end, or will the transition be seamless? Specifically, how will the front-end revamp affect the current forms and user interfaces on my clients’ sites?

Looking forward to your detailed response.

    Hi @janicgoode,

It’s a great question, and I’m glad you asked as our response will help other users as well.

The front-end overhaul will include a new shortcode to publish forms on the frontend. With this new shortcode, forms will load faster and will have overall better performance. Also, it’ll have a better, more modern design. Most of the overhaul work is done under the hood, except for the form design changes we’ve mentioned.

Rest assured, the old shortcode will continue to work. The interfaces on your existing forms will remain unaffected. You can replace the old shortcode with the new one when you think the time is right to switch to the revamp code shortcode. We would recommend that you do the switch sooner rather than later. Note that replacing the old shortcode with the new one will not require you to create new form and form fields.

Please let me know if you have any further questions or concerns.

RegistrationMagic 6.0.0.0 release is now live. Please post your feedback regarding the new release right here on this topic. We are eager to know your feedback to continuously improve RegistrationMagic and make your favourite plugin even better!

    Hey @registrationmagicsupport Team,

    Thank you for the reply!

I have just updated to Plugin version 6 on one of my current development sites, and I can already see the improvements. One of the main issues I was facing was site loading speed, and after the update, it has significantly improved.

I also noticed that you’ve added the theme style attribute in the shortcode. This is a game-changer for me as many of my clients have been asking for different styles in different forms. The ability to override the global theme style settings is fantastic, and your custom theme styles are incredibly impressive. The error message design is consistent and professional, just like the default theme. You guys are truly hardworking and knowledgeable about WordPress. Thank you for continuously improving the RegistrationMagic plugin.

I have a few suggestions, but I’m short on time right now. I’ll update you with my ideas a little later.

    All RegistrationMagic Users:

The change log is now live as well, and we have published an article regarding the ver6 release here. Please review.

Also, note that we did a follow-up release yesterday to enable PHP 7 compatibility to new shortcodes. We also improved the layout of our Checkbox and Radio fields. You can now publish these fields horizontally as an option, which should help you make the front-end form more compact with less white space.
