    Hi, I would like to restore my database to its earlier version but I got warning regarding charterset:

    “The database server that this WordPress site is running on doesn’t support the character set (utf8) which you are trying to import. You can choose another suitable character set instead and continue with the restoration at your own risk.”

    Hello,

    Using utf8mb3 will work, but if utf8mb4 is available I would recommend selecting that as it is better for compatibility and supports things like emojis.
