Hi @fawazwordpress! I’m glad you e found PMB useful! But sorry this error is happening. I think some other plugin or theme is using the same notices library but a slightly different version that doesn’t have add_notice function. I have an idea how to fix it. I hope to get it done tonight or tomorrow.

Ok I have a fix ready and will probably release it tonight

Hi @fawazwordpress, PMB 3.4.3 should address the fatal error you were getting. Could you please update it and then try activating again?

Hi @mnelson4 , thank you very much for taking up my concern and working upon it at the earliest.. very much glad and truly appreciate your response.
as now PBM 3.4.4 ( the latest i believe ) was available and I reinstalled it and activated today, but unfortunately my site once again shows a critical error notice that resolves on deactivating the plug in. I havent received a recovery mail from wordpress yet to know the error report, once if available I shall share the same. Kindly advice further , at the same time I thank you very much for the efforts.

Hi @fawazwordpress, argh that’s too bad. Yes, 3.4.4 is the latest. Yes I’m curious what the new error is because it shouldn’t be the same as before because the function having the error (WPTRT\AdminNotices\Notices::add_notice()) doesn’t exist and isn’t being used anymore…

hi @mnelson4 , thank you for your response, sorry for catching up late.

just to recap, i had seeked help regarding a critical error message on my wordpress site once i activate the PMB plug in… after you had updated the plug in , i found the same error , but this time , i did not receive any error log message via mail , hence couldn’t send and follow up with you..

it’s been a while now , i have deactivated a few plugins as it was interfering with my wordpress site functionality , and today i tried installing the PMB again..

this time i didn’t get any critical error message( i am so relieved !) , but i do get this meesage whenver i try to quick print- it doesnt go beyond this after initializing..

    ” Sorry, There was a Problem 😢
There was an error fetching posts. It was:
Read our FAQs, then feel free to ask for help in the support forum. ”

    kindly advice

Hi @fawazwordpress, sorry there’s another issue. Can you share the URL of the site that’s running PMB? That will be the most immediate help in diagnosing the issue.

    Thread Starter fawazwordpress

    (@fawazwordpress)

    Sure definitely ,
    It’s https://madukkur.com
    It’s a community welfare webpage.
    Thanks @mnelson4

    Hi @fawazwordpress,
there is an error coming from the WP REST API, which PMB Quick Print relies on (Pro Print doesn’t).
Eg if you access this page (which is served independently of PMB) it has an error: https://madukkur.com/wp-json/wp/v2/posts?_embed=1&orderby=date&order=asc

You should be getting an error email being sent to your admin account. If so, can you please share what that error is? If not, you can try turning WP_DEBUG on.

Either way, seeing that error will be helpful in debugging, although right now it’s looking like the root problem might not be PMB (once I see the error message, and hopefully the associated debugging information, we’ll be able to pinpoint where the error is coming from.)

    Hi @mnelson4

Once I on the Debug :

The above is when the PMB is deactivated

And when I activate PMB I get the below error

    Hi @mnelson4 ,
I went through the above and understood there is a problem with memory size limit, which is causing the PMB from completing the quick print process. I tried to find a solution meanwhile and found a plug in , that allows to increase the memory size limit,

and now our wonderful plug in “print my blog ” works absolutely fine on my website

    thanks again, and regards.

Oh sorry, I missed your messages from 4 days ago @fawazwordpress. Ya, I would have suggested trying to increase your memory size, but good for you for figuring that out.

If you’re not too upset about how I missed your responses from 4 days ago, feel free to leave a review here: https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/print-my-blog/reviews/#new-post

Either way, take care! Best wishes preserving your blog!
