Hi @tamaya
Can you kindly let us know whether you used the option “Clone” or “New Draft” to duplicate the post?
When you see the error “Copy failed, no copy could be created” – can you kindly check if you see any error in the browser console?
Please check the browser console for errors, you can follow this How to find JavaScript errors with your browser’s console?
You can use any image-sharing service like https://pasteboard.co/, https://snag.gy/, https://imgur.com/, https://snipboard.io/, or even upload the screenshot to your own website. Once you upload it to an image-sharing service, please share the link to the image here.

Hi @tamaya
When I try to use the “Clone” or “New Draft” option, I do not see the same error. Also I see the content is being duplicated correctly over cloned posts and newly created draft posts.
Often, we see problems occur in combination with another plugin or theme. The fastest way to rule out any conflict is to deactivate all non-Yoast plugins and switch to a standard theme like Twenty Twenty-Two.
Please test this on your development or staging site if you have one. If not, we recommend using the Health Check & Troubleshooting plugin. This plugin has a troubleshooting mode, which does not affect normal visitors to your site.
Kindly let us know what you face when only Yoast Duplicate Post plugin is activated in troubleshooting mode?
