confirming payment links sent to customer

    hi there,

    I set up my WooCommerce store and manually added my first order on the wp/woocommerce dashboard on the ‘orders’ tab. I selected ‘send order details to customer’ and am hoping the order along with a payment link has been emailed…

    how can I check to see if an email has been sent with the payment link? I don’t want to disturb the customer with an unnecessary second email asking if they received a payment link.

    Hello sarahkianaart,

    Thank you for contacting Woo support.

    To keep track of emails sent from the site you can use a mail logging plugin like WP Mail Logging.
    However, this method only tells you that an email was generated by the site and cannot tell if the email was delivered to the customer.

    For complete email tracking, I recommend using an SMTP service.
    Here is a blog post that compares different SMTP services.
    Hopefully, this will help you decide if you choose to use the SMPT service.
