Cloned admin role to make a developer role, but it cannot edit other admins?

    Hi,

    I created a ‘Developer’ role by cloning ‘Administrator’. I have removed the ability to manage themes and plugins from regular Administrators, so Developer will be a super admin which can do that.

    That is working fine, however the Developer role is unable to modify Administrator users. E.g. remove the role for an ex-Admin who has now left.

    It is also now not possible to edit the Administrator role as a Developer – even though it was an exact clone.

    Is there an extra step that is needed for a clone of Administrator to be able to manage Administrators?
