    Hi @harryman7

“Your answer was incorrect” if it is like that message it will be due to the maths captcha answer do not match.

Do you have cache on for login page, It may be the case. can you please let me know exact error message ?

Rename the plugins folder “all-in-one-wp-security-and-firewall” to “all-in-one-wp-security-and-firewall-deactivated” at location /wp-content/plugins/all-in-one-wp-security-and-firewall It will deactivate the plugin and will allow to access using wp-login.php

Then rename the plugin folder and if AIOS not active then activate it and cross check.

    Hi @hjogiupdraftplus,
thank you for the quick response. May be my post was not formulated correct. I mean, the math captcha for the backend login works fine. But at the same time, the frontend users who have no captcha cannot login. The error message comes from the Profile Builder Pro that manages my registration and login process. But as i mentioned before i tried to get the same configuration as with my other website, but it doesn’t work the same. If you had understood my post before in this sense, then please confirm and i will use the described hack. Thanks again.
    Regards,
    Harry

    Hi @ifharryman7,

Ok, Maths captcha works for the admin login page but does not work for the front end please cross check it is not the cache issue which does not show maths question first, Purge all page cache and cross check.

It depends on the Profile Builder Pro login form if it does not use login_form action hook it might not show the captcha maths question for front end user through captcha for login on.

They must have authenticate filter applied which suppose to check on post back maths captcha that is why it might be issue.

Please cross-check if the custom login captcha enabled does work WP security > Bruteforce > Captcha ?

    Hi, thanks!

    the problem is solved.

    2 remarks to that:
I actually didn’t want the (math) captcha for both, admin login and (!) user login. I only wanted the captcha for admin login. Thus i only activated the settings for login captcha and left the custom settings for login captcha deactiated. Wit that status the user login credentials wasn’t accepted anymore.

Now i activated the custom settings logoin captcha and both user groups are able to login 🙂

    Thank you.

    Best regards,
    Harald
