Cannot set 'large' image size

    I have set the following sizes for images I upload to WordPress in Settings > Media:

    Thumbnail: 208px wide, 117px high
    Medium: 470px wide (height not specified)
    Large: 886px wide (height not specified)

    I uploaded a 1680×1120 size image and it has given me the following sizes when I try to embed the image:

    Thumbnail: 208×117 (correct)
    Medium: 470×313 (correct)
    Large: 591×393

    Why is it making the large size so much smaller than I need? How can I fix this?

    I have checked functions.php and there is nothing in there specifying a different size for the large image.
