Trying to find a solution that will work with images inline with list, this works great on regular images but the ‘link to media’ doesn’t seem to exist on inline images, do you know of way I can make this work with this plugin?

    Thanks!

    Hi @jcsacto,

It’s possible, but quite hard because you have to link each inline image to the full resolution by hand.

Could you give me an example, where an inline image with a lightbox would make sense?

@goaroundagain The use case is the same as the current plugins use case, it creates a larger image view that doesn’t go to another tab or page which requires the user an extra navigation step. The only thing I’m asking for is a way to use it for Inline images in a WordPress block list. Still just an image, just want readers to be able to expand the image to a larger size when clicked on it.

You can link the inline image to the full-size image. Then edit the HTML of the paragraph (Edit HTML) and add class="wp-block-image" to the <a>. Then the lightbox should work. But it’s not an easy way for many images.
