When using the new “Expand on click” function on images in a page, if the image is left aligned or right aligned, clicking it does activate a lightbox function, but the image is not shown full size — it’s the same size as it’s displayed on the page.

The sample page linked above has three copies of the same image with alignment being the only difference.

The lightbox function works as expected for images with the default alignment setting. Also tested with the Twenty Twenty-Four theme and did not see this problem — this is specific to Neve.

    Tested with:
    WordPress 6.5.5
