Broken Links for Trashed Pages

I frequently get notified about broken links for pages that don’t exist anymore. Even ones I have since purged from trash as well. I deleted a number of pages about a week ago and today I got a notification about 20 broken links from links within those pages.
The “post status” option is set to “published” only.

So, figuring I should try to give you more info. I turned on logging and initiated a “re-check” all links. It’s still progressing, but already found a broken link referring to a page that no longer exists. Here are the relevant logs I found–
