I have a website where the Yoast SEO fields are getting blank when I update and refresh my admin page.

I was going to copy the site to a staging environment to check for plugins conflict but when I copied the site without changing anything the plugin worked on my stage and dev environemnt but not on my live site.

    I am using WP Engine.
I talked to them but they didn’t understand what the problem was.

I have also tried to reinstall the plugin.

Here is the empty fields. When I type into them and and save and refresh the fields are empty again.

    Hello @isakgetsocial,

Thanks for using the Yoast SEO plugin. Does the you described happen when you udated to v22.9?

If yes, we often see problems occur when another plugin or theme is used in conjunction with it. The fastest way to rule out conflict is to deactivate all non-Yoast plugins and switch to a standard theme like Twenty Twenty-Two.

Please test this on your development or staging site if you have one. If not, we recommend using the Health Check & Troubleshooting plugin. This plugin has a troubleshooting mode, which does not affect normal visitors to your site.

If you’re unfamiliar with checking for conflicts, we’d like to point you to a step-by-step guide that will walk you through the process: How to check for plugin conflicts

If you feel uncomfortable doing this yourself or if this does not solve your issue, our Yoast SEO Premium plugin comes with one year of (technical) support.

    Hello!
Thanks for the answer. I am using the latest version of Yoast SEO 🙂

Well the thing was that when i copied my site to staging the plugin is working. With the same theme and plugins activated. I didn’t change anything, just copied the site. That makes me think that it is not a theme or plguin conflict which causes the error.

Since we are not familiar with your live and staging site, we also cannot determine what the issue is. So, a conflict check narrows things down.
