Easy to use and basic contact form capabilities. Only thing missing is that I should be able to access the database of submitted forms, unfortunately that basic capability is considered part of their paid subscription.

    Hi @dsitechmktg,

Thank you for taking the time to leave your honest feedback, and I’m sorry for the inconvenience. Please allow me to share more details on how you can get form submissions using the WPForms Lite.

Entries in WPForms Lite(free version) are not stored by default. However, for the users who prefer to stick with the free version, it is recommended that they leverage the Email notification feature so that entries can be managed via email. Please know that you should be able to set up form notification emails in WPForms Lite so that you will receive the entries submitted by your users. Here’s the tutorial with all the details. In Lite, you’re able to set up one notification email — however, you can send this one notification to as many different email addresses as you’d like.

Enabling the Lite Connect option will back up the entries submitted through your forms for the future. This means that if you decide to upgrade to WPForms Pro, you can restore your entries and have instant access to reports.

If you are not receiving the email notifications, I’ll recommend you to check that your form notification settings are configured correctly by following our tutorial.

If your notification settings are correct, the issue is likely because the emails sent from WordPress are not authenticated (unlike emails sent directly from dedicated email service providers). As a result, they are likely to be filtered by the receiving mail server.
To resolve email delivery issues like this, you can configure an SMTP plugin on your site so that emails are sent as authenticated. We have an article with a list of recommended SMTP options and links to their setup tutorials.

In case this helps, you might be able to retrieve data from previous submissions by contacting your site’s hosting provider to ask if they are able to retrieve the undelivered emails through the email logs, just so you can at least have the information.

And if you’d like more help with the email delivery issue or using WPForms Lite in general, please feel welcome to post in our WPForms Lite support forum.

    Thanks!

I already receive email notifications, thanks! I was just saying that it would be nice to access the database in the free version like several other plugins do.
