Hi @sonarscope,
One possibility is that there might be an issue with the file you uploaded to your .well-known
folder. Please ensure that the file apple-developer-merchantid-domain-association
is correctly placed in your .well-known
directory and that it’s accessible via your domain.
Another potential issue could be related to your SSL certificate. Apple Pay requires a valid SSL certificate installed on your site. You can use an SSL checker tool to verify if your SSL certificate is valid.
Additionally, follow our detailed guide to setup and verify domain correctly: https://woo.com/document/woopayments/payment-methods/apple-pay
Let us know how that goes. Looking forward to helping you.

Hello @sonarscope,
is subdirectory a problem ?
Yes, having the file in a subdirectory can cause this. Please move it to the main site folder via SFTP.
You can find a detailed discussion about this with a few other workarounds here: https://github.com/Automattic/woocommerce-payments/issues/3565
Hope this helps!
