    Hi,

The best way to check if it work for your website is to use the free preview app https://wpmobile.app/doc/test/

You just have to install the wpmobile plugin on your website ; )

@amauric – We are familiar with the app tester.

However, our question is if WP Mobile App has any known limitations?

We are yet to build the website that we will be building the app for, and we are still deciding what features to include or not.

But we would like to know if there are any limitations, features or functionality or design that is not supported that we should avoid while we are still designing the website.

There is no limitation, if it work, it’s ok.

The only thing not possible with wpmobile is a paid membership app because Apple force the use of in-app purchase and that’s not a feature available.

@amauric – Can you please elaborate more on the “a paid membership app because Apple force the use of in-app purchase and that’s not a feature available”?

Can you give an example? We plan to incorporate a WooCommerce function where people can sign-up on our website with payment. This means entering payment info e.g. credit card, personal info, etc.

    Can that be supported?

If this is to sale a real product, no problem.

If this is to sell a membership (like Spotify, YouTube, a fitness app, a bonus in a video game, …) not possible (will be rejected by stores).

@amauric Thanks for your expertise on this. And it is indeed saddening why would the stores not accept membership payments – that is actually what we are planning to develop.

May I ask if you know the explanation on why stores will reject membership payments within the app? Do you have a link to it?

    Thanks!

It’s to be user friendly, improve payment security and give a simple way to the user to end a membership.

It’s also because they take 30% of each transaction as commission ; )
