Adding second site to multisite and images disappeared

    Hi,

    On a week old WordPress multisite I added a second site yesterday from a UpdraftPlus backup.

    Now the images from the first site are all gone – I can’t find any trace of them.

    The second site appears to have created new empty folders where the image files from the first site were. The links to images are all missing.

    Is this possible? If this what happened, why? And how do I prevent it from happening again?
