AAM restrict Simple:Press Forum

Hello,

I am an happy user of AAM, is installed in all of my client’s sites.
Unfortunately I found an issue with Simple:Press forum plugin. AAM allow only the Admin menu link of SP without me ticking the restriction boxes.

So SP menu links are not available.

Any help?

Hi ciaoweb,
Most likely Simple:Press is allowed only for administrator’s role. There is no way for AAM to manage this behavior.
You may go to the code directly and change the capability assigned for Simple:Press admin menu.

Hi Vasyl,

I have 2 admins for the SP forum with exactly the same full access but only one using AAM get the full SP menu on WP backend.

Very strange, what do you think?

Hi Vasyl,

I think that is AAM wrong, since it restrict SP only to one forum admin.

If I disable AAM the other forum admin get full access.

So it is DEFINITELY an AAM issue and not Simple:Press.
