"It Is Every Individual's Obligation to Confront the Current Siege in Gaza"

Written for an online dialogue at the UCLA School of Law's "ICC Forum" (referring to the Int'l Cr... more Written for an online dialogue at the UCLA School of Law's "ICC Forum" (referring to the Int'l Criminal Court), I argue that Israel's War on Gaza constitutes a genocide, and that international law is hostage to global power relations and that it is unlikely that the Palestinian people will receive anything resembling justice through the ICC, despite the forceful condemnations of this war that was delivered by the International Court of Justice (ICJ) in January 2024.

Co-written with Barry Trachtenberg and Victoria Sanford. Raz Segal also deserves much credit.
