David Weinfeld
I am an assistant professor in the department of Philosophy and World Religions at Rowan University in Glassboro, NJ. I received my doctorate in History and Hebrew and Judaic Studies from New York University and AB cum laude in History from Harvard University. I have previously taught at Virginia Commonwealth University, University of Toronto, Queens College, Temple University, and NYU.
My main research interest is American Jewish history, especially intellectual history and Black-Jewish relations. My book, "An American Friendship: Horace Kallen, Alain Locke, and the Development of Cultural Pluralism," was published by Cornell University Press on May 15, 2022.
