1. Imposter syndrome is common, in highly successful individuals. Help them see that & acknowledge to normalise their feelings. 2. Encourage them to reflect on their past successes & how they achieve them. It helps see a balanced view of their capabilities & counteract the negative self-perception. 3. Help set SMART goals. Breaking down larger tasks into smaller, manageable chunks can make it feel less overwhelming & more doable. 4. Offer specific & actionable constructive feedback. 5. I would definitely share my own experiences with self-doubt and how I overcame them. This can make them not only feel more comfortable discussing their own fears & seeking support, but also help build confidence that they can do it.

For me, it is about asking open questions to define at what level their self-doubt come from (on their capacity, behaviour, feelings, self-sabotaging thoughts, etc.) and then I would refocus the conversation on their strengths and how they contribute to the team. I would end up by helping them define the next 3 small actions that they can do that will prove to themselves they can beat their self-doubt.
