Based in San Francisco, Nick works as an illustrator and designer, pairing his graphic illustrations with his carefully crafted typography for a range of projects.
Nick Slater uses mood boards and sketches to explore his ideas before moving into Adobe Illustrator, where he creates the majority of his work using a mixture of effects, gradients and ‘magic’ to produce his graphic and bright illustrations. His strong graphic style combined with his limited colour palette use allows him to produce definitive and strong illustrations suited for a range of industries. From icons to scenes, to logos – his varied portfolio and extensive client list are some of the many indicators of what a prolific artist he is.
