Carolyn Jenkins
Carolyn Jenkins is an London Based illustrator and artist, who specialises in scientific botanical illustrations with her traditional watercolour techniques. As a professional gardener, Carolyn was surrounded by beautiful natural environments and soon began to illustrate her surroundings, curating her own delicate watercolour style that has made her popular with publishing, packaging, advertising, and editorial clients. Her illustrations capture the beauty of the subject, emphasising the natural elements in a classic elegant style that is suited to a variety of projects. Carolyn has combined two disparate career paths, illustration and professional gardening. Well respected in both, she has won two RHS medals for her botanical paintings at the Royal Horticultural Society’s Botanical Art Show; a Gold and ‘Best Exhibit’ in 2011 and a Silver in 2016. The RHS Lindley Library has purchased two of her paintings for its collection; Helleborus x hybridus and Dahlia ‘Arabian Night’.
