El desarrollo filosófico de Hegel hasta la Fenomenología fue un camino de desesperación en al menos dos sentidos. En primer lugar, así llama Hegel (FE, 2010, p. 56) al camino que la conciencia natural emprende en su búsqueda de la verdad; por otro lado, la creación de la Fenomenología fue a nivel biográfico una etapa crítica en la vida de Hegel, las cosas no estaban bien ni en su economía ni en su vida académica pública. En el contexto inmediato del texto confluyen una cantidad enorme de influencias que van desde la lectura incansable de algunos clásicos griegos, los evangelios, la historia de Roma, los economistas ingleses, los filósofos populares alemanes, Kant y los filósofos críticos posteriores, incluyendo la ineludible influencia de Hölderlin y Schelling como compañeros y amigos en el seminario de Tubinga. Todo esto, hará que Hegel transforme su reflexión, en principio al estilo de los filósofos populares ilustrados, hombres de letras, a una filosofía sistemática, como él explicita en una famosa carta a Schelling en 1800 (Hegel, 2014, p. 489)
Para comprender el objetivo del filosofar hegeliano nos sumergiremos en los escritos del joven Hegel. El trabajo abarcará un periodo de trece años de pensamiento filosófico, trece años de reflexión sobre problemas que no se pueden alejar de la filosofía práctica, de la política, que sin duda alguna tiene un lugar privilegiado en Hegel ya desde el Seminario, pese al vocabulario especulativo posterior.
Finalmente, luego de acercarnos a la Fenomenología del espíritu desde la trayectoria del propio Hegel, podremos tener una idea clara sobre qué preguntas podemos pedir respuestas en la Fenomenología y por qué es un libro importante para la reflexión contemporánea.

El desarrollo de este texto se enmarca entre dos historias. La primera tiene un final incomprendido, mientras que la segunda, que nos resulta más cercana conceptual y temporalmente, reivindica la primera historia y nos permite comprenderla.
El objetivo del trabajo es estudiar las principales influencias modernas de la línea de trabajo de Rorty y McDowell, y asimismo, destacar su evidente distancia a través del estudio de los filósofos modernos, en especial Kant, Jacobi y Hegel. Para contextualizar esta discusión, describiré parte de su historia, en la cual está contenido de manera ineludible  el pensamiento de Davidson, Quine y Sellars.
Mi intención es mostrar que la discusión de estos autores está dentro de lo que podríamos llamar una filosofía analítica hegeliana, en contraposición a la filosofía analítica anterior que contiene una carga kantiana evidente.

Resumen: Las consecuencias de la pandemia pueden considerarse como desgracias o injusticias. En este escrito mostraré que la situación general en Chile se configura como una injusticia. Para justificar el punto anterior describiré a grandes rasgos las característi-cas fundamentales del igualitarismo de la suerte. Luego, al exponer los datos disponibles en Chile, mostraré por qué en Chile las consecuencias del coronavirus se configuran co-mo una injusticia. En particular, mostraré que si los seres humanos son libres e iguales en derechos, entonces es necesario que esa igualdad se exprese en su igual capacidad de enfrentar la suerte bruta. Así, los seres humanos son por una parte, libres, y por ende responsables, y por otro, iguales, y por ende, libres de la suerte bruta. Por lo tanto, el rol del estado, en tanto conjunto de instituciones que distribuyen justicia, es minimizar la suerte (bruta). La relación entre los efectos de la pandemia y condición socioeconómica debe leerse como el abandono de los ciudadanos a su suerte bruta. Dejar a los ciudadanos a su suerte no es simplemente una desgracia, es una injusticia.

This paper presents a restricted defence of the revealed preference theory (RPT) considering the critical argumentation of Villacís (Revealed preference versus the utilitarian approach) against it. It is shown that the RPT is an improvement in methodological terms for economic research and an improvement as a formal microeconomic foundation. I will show that, first, the criticisms raised against RPT are misguided insofar as 1. they assume that the aim of RPT is to offer a behaviourist epistemology and 2. they assume that to hold a behaviourist view of preferences is to hold a behaviourist view of microeconomic foundations. Second, I will show that the formal critique raised by Villacís is ineffective because there is an ambiguity as to what players' preferences depend on in the context of strategic games.

It is common practice in intergenerational justice to set fixed thresholds determining what qualifies as justice. Static definitions of how much and what to save for future generations, however, overestimate human epistemological limits and predictive capacity in regard to uncertainty in social- and ecosystems. Long- term predictions cannot account for the inherent range of contingent variables at play, especially according to contemporary theories of punctuated equilibrium. It is argued that policies deliberately testing ecological limits as currently conceived must be excluded from political calculations to minimize current actions from foreclosing future life quality and options. To better reduce harms to present and future generations and support the stability of just institutions (and the stable environments they depend on) as Rawls and others demand, polities can overcompensate resource allocation to environmental sustainability. Focus on reducing environmental harms benefits both current and future generations, reconciling distributive versus intergenerational justice trade-offs.

This article argues that understanding “wild” land as terra nullius (“land belonging to no one”) emerged during historical colonialism, entered international law, and became entrenched in national constitutions and cultural mores around the world. This has perpetuated an unsustainable and unjust human relationship to land no longer tenable in the post-Lockean era of land scarcity and ecological degradation. Environmental conservation, by valuing wild lands, challenges the terra nullius assumption of the vulnerability of unused lands to encroachment, while indigenous groups reasserting their rights to communal territories likewise contest individual property rights. South American case studies illustrate routinized terra nullius prejudices.

This article interprets Jakob von Uexküll's understanding of different beings' Innenwelt, Gegenwelt, and umwelt through Deleuzian insights of multiplicity, context, and particularity. This Deleuzian interpolation into Uexküll's insights acknowledges the absence of a unitary 'human' view of nature, recognizing instead that plural viewpoints of cultures, subgroups and individuals understand and interpret natural signs variously not just because of ideology but because of physiology and contrastive fundamental ways of accessing the world. Recent formative research in comparative neurobiology suggests that universal anthropological claims of cross-cultural semiotic similarity are incorrect. Interpreting biosemiotics as the investigation of apprehending the Innenwelt of radically different others (species), such semiotic understandings themselves are not necessarily generalizable between different members of the same species in a group, same-species groups in different natural cultural contexts, or even (as with humans) the same animal at different points of time (based on new understandings, patterns, or events of meaning altering interpretations of self and events). Conjoining Deleuze's insights of the complexity of multiplicity with Uexküll's scientific-imaginative system of comprehending other creatures' ways of understanding their world offers an increased self-reflexivity regarding the simultaneous levels of actual semiotic activity for biosemiotic inquiry.
