Introduction: Inadequate practices during musical training can cause various physical,
emotional,... more Introduction: Inadequate practices during musical training can cause various physical,
emotional, and psychological consequences in musicians. To find solutions, research
begins by investigating appropriate treatments that can alleviate these conditions. This
research has generated interest in discovering preventive methods against addiction to
musical activity, known as Musicorexia, with the aim of subsequently sharing the
knowledge, results, and possible preventive practices obtained.

Objective: To analyze the state of Musicorexia at the national level and discover
preventive and therapeutic materials. To create a table that helps music students prevent
addictive behaviors
Methods: Review of publications and critical-reflective reading on behavioral addictions
and a survey about the degree of Musicorexia using the quantitative method.
Results: Only one study related to Musicorexia was found, which did not include
prevention data. The survey revealed that both professional musicians and students are
unable to take a break from musical activity for more than 15 consecutive days. A general
prevention table for Musicorexia has been developed.
