With the correct education one would develop a strong moral sense, leading to right behaviour, pure thought and hence, to contentment. Several models of virtue and ethics were developed by Greek philosophers in the fifth century Before the Common Era (B.C.E.). These models of Ethikos referred to the more broadly understood concept of one's moral character, inherent in all men, and were intended to aid in the development of that character through guidance. In modern times ethical codes have proliferated in the professions and have become both prescriptive and restrictive. This paper discusses this proliferate development in the twentieth century, the need for ethical codes and conflicts within ethical theories.

This paper reports on a study of the 290 sudden death memorials, representing 313 individuals, identified in Bucharest between 2000 and 2018.

This inquiry sought to establish some foundation upon which a reasonable discussion of experimental use and its relationship to use continuation into adulthood and to dependency could proceed.

While the decline in religious belief and the secularization of religion in Europe have been increasing, the movement towards spirituality, in North America, has been on the increase. This increased secularization and the concurrent growth of interest in spirituality within the psychology and counselling disciplines have fostered ethical debates about the appropriateness of any discussion of faith within the therapeutic relationship. Clinicians from 14 nations joined in a discussion debating the question: “Is there a place for religion in contemporary psychology?” This paper examines that debate and reveals differences in the viewpoints of clinicians in various global locations.
