There is confusion in professionals for the field of urban design results from the interactive nature of the relationship between the (Idea) and presnting it in a communication language. The problem becomes more complicated when shaping the (Concept) and the transition from the conceptual level to the next level applied. So the main focus of current research on the statement of what the idea and concept, and the transition mechanisms towards the application of the components of the process of urban design. It aims to search out the mechanics and easier the process of communication between the parties of jurisdiction over the application level and the level of education for the profession. . Search as it tries to develop the basic ideas to move the concepts of urban design to the level applied. As the research found that these concepts are broad and it needs to measurable indicators and to be aware of and measurable indicators should contain realistic. The search is based on the premise: (a real confusion between the idea and the concept (theoretically and practically), including a direct impact on professional and academic groups within the field of urban design, in terms of the ability to put ideas and presenting them). This study is an attempt to examine analytically the similarity and differences of adjectives in both languages, English and Arabic. The study attempts to methodically evaluate the different kinds of English adjectives as well as the Arabic adjectives focusing on the usage, the differences and similarities, as well as the difficulties.
Moreover it aims to shed light on the way to make such comparison understandable. It is prepared to contribute in enriching the field of study because of the lack to researches in this area.
The study is compromised of four sections. The first section deals with a brief introduction summarizing the importance of the study. A short definition of adjectives in English and Arabic is presented. The second section deals with Adjectives in
English, detailed definitions, and the types of adjectives supported by examples. Whereas the third part independently, introduces with details the Adjectives in Arabic; its meaning, and types supported with examples. The fourth concentrates on a
short comparative study between adjectives in English and Arabic shedding light on the problems and difficulties of adjectives in both Arabic and English followed by a general conclusions, findings and recommendations of the study.

This study is a historical-analytical attempt to demonstrate the influence and contribution of Arab Islamic Mawashahat and Zajal on the Provencal lyrical poets – the Troubadours that sprang in south of France during the eleventh century. The study consists of three parts in which the first part represents the main part. It sheds light on the influence of Muwashashah and Zajal on the poetry of troubadours. The second part deals with the nature of troubadours and their relation with the poetry of Muwashashah and Zajal. It is supported with five troubadour poets. The last part goes back to the beginning of the European Renaissance in the twelfth century. The European Renaissance started in Italy decades after translations of Islamic heritage, literature and science from Arabic into Latin then from Latin to other European languages. The eighth through the eleventh centuries witnessed the glorious ages of Islamic civilization and sciences in which great portion of it was shifted t o Italy during and after the crusades. Thence, different parts of Europe were enlivened with the movement of translation and multi travels and cultural exchange. One of the changing factors is poetry as a branch of literature.

The poetry of William Butler Yeats has been so much studied and analyzed but his dramas in verse are paid less effort. This study aims to shed light on the way Yeats thrived in writing poetic dramas in the age of prose. It is arranged to contribute to enriching the field of study because of the lack of sufficient recent researches in this area. The study starts with an introduction to poetic drama then an analytical examination of the plays of a major twentieth-century poet and dramatist, W. B. Yeats. It aims to demonstrate his contribution and influence of the revival of poetic drama in the twentieth century, a pioneer as an eminent as T. S. Eliot, with special reference to The Land of Heart’s Desire, and The Countess Cathleen, also, indication reference to some other of Yeats’ plays is important.

يُحظى شعر وليام بتلر ييتس او دبليو بي ييتس بتحليل ودراسات كثيرة لكن لم تعطى مسرحياته الاهتمام المناسب. هذه الدراسة تهدف الى تسليط الضوء على طريقة نجاح ييتس في كتابة مسرحيات شعرية في عصر النثر. الدراسة اُعدت لتسهم في اثراء مجال الدراسة كنتيجة للندرة في الابحاث الحديثة في هذا النطاق. تبدا الدراسة بمقدمة عن مفهوم المسرح الشعري، يتبع ذلك دراسة تحليلية لمسرحيات دبليو بي ييتس كأحد المسرحيين البارزين في القرن العشرين. وتهدف الى اثبات اسهاماته وتأثيراته في اعادة احياء المسرح الشعري في القرن العشرين، كأحد البارزين مثل تي اس إليوت، من خلال تطرق خاص الى مسرحيتي، "ارض أمنية القلب" و "الكونتيسة كاثلين"، اضافة الى الاشارة الموجزة عن عدد من مسرحيات ييتس كأهمية.

The current study aims at strengthening EFL students' vocabulary through learning drama. Twenty one Saudi students, who learn the course " 16 th Century Drama " in the second term (1435/1436 AH) in Faculty of Science and Arts in AlMandaqat ALBaha University, are considered to be the samples of this study. Pre-test and post-test were administered to the students to measure their vocabulary improvement. The researchers used SPSS to analyze the data. The findings of this study recommended that learning drama effectively helps in widening students' vocabulary.

James Elroy Flecker's dramas have been somehow mistreated and diminutive consideration is given to Flecker as a dramatist, so the gratitude he received is because of being a poet who spent a great deal of his life in the Middle East acquiring from its philosophy, knowledge, culture and tradition. The study is carried out largely because few examinations have been done on James Elroy Flecker as a poet playwright. A good deal has been done about him as a poet; be that as it may, he is as great a playwright as well as a poet. He had an appealing feeling concerning the stage. His efforts as a playwright is thoroughly associated to his poetry, on such basis, the idea of this study is created. The study, applies an analytical and critical methods, attempting to prove the positive influence of Arabic literature on the western literature particularly the inseparable poetic drama, and to trace the origins of Flecker's poetic drama " Hassan " in Arabic literature.

T. S. Eliot is a major twentieth century poet, playwright, and critic. He has greatly influenced the English literature in the first half of the twentieth century. Eliot’s works are marked for their innovative quality and rich ambiguity. As such, they lead to a variety of interpretations. Eliot emerged as a major proponent of poetic plays for which he also made adequate ground in his criticism. With the publication of the first two plays – Murder in the Cathedral and The Family Reunion – the case for poetic drama was furthered and strengthened, and it caught the imagination of other contemporary writers. Many critics have said that poetry and drama are two separate modes of literary expression whereas Eliot seems to believe that poetry and drama are unified and they bear closely upon one another. In his opinion, poetry and drama constitute parts of a unity and they are essentially unified modes of literary expression.

As an introduction to basic literary forms, Introduction to English literature is a preparation for The Rise of the Novel, Appreciating Drama and Appreciating Poetry. Its primary purpose is to provide learners with a foundation of elementary skills necessary for the reading of literature, those skills that will be more fully developed in the following introductory courses. It helps to identify the explanations of drama, novel, poetry and Introduces learners to the basic literary terms that are required for understanding a piece of literature. The book also develops the taste for appreciating literature and differentiates between the general background of diverse literary movements beginning with Old English, moving through other literary phases and ending with Modern English Literature as well as to categorize the social, historical and cultural background of the different periods or ages in literature.

The principal objective of this book is to put the researchers and learners on the first step of comprehending, recognizing and appreciating poetry by developing their aptitude and talent. Furthermore, the book aims to support and guide academic learners and scholars to increase their sensitivity and capacity for receiving and dealing with arrangements. To deal positively with a poem or a piece of poetry, the researchers or learners need to apply a first phase, which can be realized as scanning. Scanning is to read the poem normally in relation to its prose meaning. Researchers and learners are advised to read again and to start thinking of the direct meaning and the indirect connotation. They, after that, are encouraged to go through listening to where the stresses and strong syllables fall. In case they have any uncertainty about how the lines should be noticed, they can skip them temporarily and go on to other lines in which they feel greater assurance that is, to the lines that seem most consistent, with accents which fall obviously at regular pauses.

Abstract
Murder in the Cathedral is the first complete play written by T. S. Eliot which deals with an ancient and medieval theme and a plot of the twelfth century. The story was written by poet-dramatists as Tennyson with his play named Becket and Christopher Fry who wrote Curtmantle, both wrote the story of Thomas Becket but such plays were not successful in the nineteenth and twentieth centuries because the authors used a language too far remote from their own time.
This study attempts to show the challenges faced T. S. Eliot in writing an ancient anecdote with a modern and contemporary language for contemporary people. The research is an analytical and critical attempt that tries to display, to what extent, Eliot thrived in writing the play in a language close to the language of his own people. It comprises an introduction shedding light on the historical background then is
followed by critical and analytical views on the events of the play presenting first the events before the action. The process shifts to the next part illustrating the action, focusing on the use of language of the play, with special focus on the structure and style.

تسعى هذه الدراسة لعرض التحدي الذي واجه ’ت. س. إليوت‘ في تأليف قصة قديمة في شكل مسرحي ولكن باستخدام قالب أو ثوب لغوي حديث ومعاصر لتعرض على مشاهدين في نفس عصر المؤلف. هذا البحث يستخدم المنهج التحليلي والنقدي الذي يحاول عرض، إلى أي مدى، ن جح ’إليوت‘ في كتابة المسرحية بلغة قريبة من لغة عصره. الدراسة تشتمل على مقدمة تلقي الضوء على الخلفية التاريخية، ثم تتبع بدراسة وجه نظر نقدية وتحليلية عن أحداث المسرحية مستعرضاً الاحداث قبل تنفيذ الجريمة ثم الانتقال إلى الجزء التالي موضحاً طريقة تنفيذ الجريمة مركزاً على الاستخدام اللغوي في المسرحية وبشكل خاص التركيز على البناء والأسلوب اللغوي.

Sweeney Agonistes is an interesting literary poetic work by T. S. Eliot. It has not yet been completely given sufficient examination and analysis. This study endeavors to illustrate the challenges faced by Eliot in dealing with Sweeney Agonistes as a modern dialogue for modern readers. The main goal of this paper is to examine the dialogue of the piece of work under study together with affording a prevue on the basics creating its background.
To many critics, Sweeney Agonistes is perplexing poetic piece of literature to the degree that several critics do not call it a play but a fragment as Eliot himself named it. The first intriguing point which needs to be clarified in connection with Sweeney Agonistes is to prove that this short fragmentary piece is a play. The researcher tries to illustrate to what extent Eliot had the ability to make Sweeney Agonistes a play. The study follows the analytical approach to achieve the goal for drawing inferences. It includes a brief introduction about Eliot’s theories on drama and poetry, to be followed by critical-analytical observations on the use of dialogue and characters with special focus on the utility of modern dialogue to back up the argument of the researcher to call it a play.

To write plays are not easy, to make them verse, is difficult but to cooperate in composing poetic drama, is of great challenge. This study tries to prove the capability and manageability in collaboration not only in ordinary prose drama but also in poetic plays. It aims to trace, through an analytical and critical technique, the procedures of collaboration showing, to what degree both of the two collaborators, Auden and Isherwood, achieved success in dealing with contemporary poetic drama using modern language. The research is an approach on one of the likely best plays they shared, The Ascent of F6 (1933). The study starts giving a glance on poetic drama then it traces the collaboration between W. H. Auden and Christopher Isherwood with special reference to the poetic play The Ascent of F6.

The present research aims to try evaluating the significance of teaching poetry for EFL students, likewise, it aims to know to what extent teaching poetry contributes in fortifying, emphasizing and reinforcing terminology for students. Twenty Saudi students, who study 'Appreciating Poetry' of Level Five in the First Semester (1436/1437 AH-2015) in Department of English, Faculty of Science and Arts-Al Mandaq, Al Baha University are estimated to be the samples of the task. The sample is subjected to two tests of three multi-various questions – a pretest and a posttest –for assessing language enrichment. The researcher employs SPSS to scrutinize the given data. The study opens with an introduction about the importance of poetry; supporting it with some definitions by some poets or critics, and then it is followed by literature review after that it, briefly, tells about the methodology used in the study. The main part deals with data analysis and discussion. The study concludes with the conclusion and recommendations. The findings of the study bring about some recommendations clarifying that studying poetry helps students in widening their background with significant terms and vocabulary. It enriches the skills of students and fortifying them to use different sources of language. The researcher, at the end of the study, puts forward several important recommendations that the study has resulted in.

ABSTRACT: The Waste Land is one of the most domineering poetic works of T. S. Eliot. In one of his critical essays, Eliot believes in an idea that the best way to make poetry popular is the theatre; on the other hand,
he supports the idea that drama should have an elevated poetic style.
Thus, it is understood that the dramas of Eliot are poetic. In the same manner, his poetry might have elements of drama. For such case, the present study tries to show that The Waste Land comprises elements very much comparable to be called a play or a poetic
drama. The five fragments of The Waste Land might work as acts of a play.
In this study, there is an attempt to prove that The Waste Land encompasses appropriate dramatic elements of a play. The task tries to demonstrate the dramatic elements in the most famous long verse, The
Waste Land, so to call it a play. The study makes an effort to exhibit primarily dramatic dialogism, characterization, and action in The Waste
Land using the analytical-critical approach.

This paper intends to establish that there can be sanguine or hope out of grief. There is a sort of growth or progress from hostility to affability and gregariousness in the lives of the performers represented. — This paper is an attempt not to claim to be comprehensive in dealing with a poetic piece as one type of expressive text in Arabic but a fair endeavor through analytical evaluation of a poem. The paper is limited to a few selected verses of Tarafah ibn Al-A'bdMua'llagah. Al-Mua'llagah is a representative of the Arabic language and its magnificence. It is a long piece of poetry cannot be examined and scrutinized in a short paper like this. The study focuses with analysis on the first twenty-five verses Tarafah's Mua'llagah. The study applies an analytical and critical approach, attempting to illustrate the influence of Arabic poetry as a means of the language and its glory. It commences with an introduction presenting the importance of Arabic poetic language then it moves to give a suitable picture of Tarafah ibn Al-A'bd as a man and a poet. The researcher afterward shifts to the main part of the study, attempting to bring a paraphrase to some selected verses of the long poem. The work reaches its end by a recommendatory afterword. Salamah ibn Jandal is one of the supreme knights and poets who revealed sophisticated pictures about the Arabs cavaliers before Islam. In this literary paper, the researcher endeavors to probe the depth of the poetry of Salamah ibn Jandal as a case of the greatness of the Arabic language through poetry. The poet ibn Jandal is barely studied, for this reason, he deserves several examinations paying attention typically to his verse as a legacy of the elegant, poetic language of Arabs. This study applies the critical-descriptive-analytical methodology. The paper starts with a concise introductory overview shedding light on the Arabic language and its association with poetry. The next part sheds light on ibn Jandal, the man and youth enthusiast, to be followed by another section dealing with Pride of the poet and his Tribe. The study in part before the conclusion deals with admiration of the Arabian horse. It attempts to prove, via poetry of Salamah ibn Jandal, the greatness of the Arabic language and to illustrate the talents of the poet through his poetry. The paper comes to an end with a concluding summary.

Orwa ibn Al-Ward is one of the greatest knights, heroes and poets who presented elegant pictures of Arabs before Islam by word and deed. In this literary article, the researcher attempts to probe the depth of the poetry of Orwa ibn Al-Ward as an instance of the greatness of Arabic poetic language as well as being a symbol of dignity, hospitality, generosity, manliness and sacrifice. Orwa ibn Al-Ward deserves a literary examination paying attention mostly to his poetry as a heritage of the Arabic poetic language. The paper applies the descriptive and critical-analytical approach. It starts with a brief introduction then it moves to shed light on Arabs and Arabic poetic language. The third main part sheds light on the poet, Orwa ibn Al-Ward as a poet-knight and a generous father of the poor. This part is the core of the study in which the study attempts to prove via the poetry of Orwa. The attitude is the descriptive-analytical to illustrate the qualities of the poet through his poetry. The paper comes to the end with a brief conclusion.
