Anadolu medeniyetleri silsilesinin onemli kavsak noktalari uzerinde yer alan Cankiri, hem ulusal ... more Anadolu medeniyetleri silsilesinin onemli kavsak noktalari uzerinde yer alan Cankiri, hem ulusal duzeyde kulturel ve sosyal zenginligimizin onemli renklerinden olagelmis, hem de tarihsel sureklilikte Cumhuriyet oncesi ve sonrasinin gormezden gelinemeyecek kentlerinden biri olma kimligini ustlenmistir. Temelde ahlaki normlar cercevesinde bireyin toplum iliskilerini duzenleyen yaren kulturune ev sahipligi yapan Cankiri, koklu ve renkli bir gelenege de sahiptir. Buna karsin Cankiri, gunumuzde sehirleri de kusatan rekabet anlayisinda dezavantajli kentler arasinda gosterilmektedir. Bu calismada, Cankiri’nin bilim dunyasinin en onemli urunlerinden olan lisansustu tezlere yansimasi ele alinmistir. Bilimsel iletişim, bilimsel yayınların meydana getirilmesinden başkalarına yayılmasına kadar olan... more Bilimsel iletişim, bilimsel yayınların meydana getirilmesinden başkalarına yayılmasına kadar olan bir süreçtir. Başlıca iletişim kanalı bilimsel dergiler olan bu süreçte, özellikle son yirmi yılda dergi fiyatlarının aşırı artışı ile ortaya çıkan bir erişim sorunu yaşanmaktadır. Birçok kütüphane bütçelerinden daha fazla pay ayırmalarına karşın mevcut dergi aboneliklerinde kesintilere gitmektedir. Gelişen teknolojinin bu sorunun aşılmasında bir fırsat olarak görülmesiyle birlikte, bilimsel yayıncılıkta alternatif modeller ortaya çıkmıştır. Bilimsel yayınlara ücretsiz ve engelsiz erişim fikrine dayalı olan açık erişim kavramı, geleneksel yayıncılığın alternatif bir modeli olarak hızla gelişmektedir. Bu makalede, açık erişim kavramının ortaya çıkış nedenleri ve gelişimi incelenerek, kurumsal açık erişim arşivleri tanıtılmaya çalışılacaktır.

Elektronik kaynakların sağlanması ve hizmete sunulması, kütüphanelerin son dönemde enerjilerini e... more Elektronik kaynakların sağlanması ve hizmete sunulması, kütüphanelerin son dönemde enerjilerini en çok harcadıkları konudur. Yüksek maliyetli kaynaklar olması yanında hizmete sunulması için gerekli altyapı ve düzenleme işlemleri gerektirmesi, bu kaynaklara ilişkin işlemlerin stratejik bir planlama dâhilinde yapılmasını ve yürütülmesini zorunlu kılmaktadır. Kütüphane dermesine ilişkin işlemler, dermenin basılı kaynaklardan oluştuğu dönemlerde kullanıcı beklentileri doğrultusunda dermeyi oluşturan parçaların sayılarının artırılması olarak görülmüştür. Elektronik kaynakların derme kapsamında yer alması, kısıtlı bütçe olanakları ile en yararlı olanların seçilmesi, bu kaynakların piyasa koşulları da dikkate alınarak en ekonomik ve uygun kullanım koşullarıyla sağlanması ve kullanıcıların kesintisiz erişimi için sürekli takibinin yapılması gibi ek işlemleri de beraberinde getirmiştir. Her aşaması profesyonellik ve planlama gerektiren bu işlemler, dermeye ilişkin kütüphanenin yaklaşımını "geliştirme"den "yönetme"ye evrilmesini zorunlu kılmıştır. Çalışmada, elektronik kaynakların tespiti ve seçimi, bu kaynakların sağlanması ve hizmete sunulmasına ilişkin yol gösterici nitelikte bilgiler verilmektedir.

What is the relationship between the authors? What is the trend towards multiple authorships in İİBD? What are the institutional affiliations of the authors of the articles? What is the status of author selfcitation and making cite to this journal? How many articles were published per year on average? How many articles were published in the journal per year? What is the distribution of articles over the years? Does the distribution of authors fit Bibliometric Rules? What is the average number of references used in the articles? What is the most frequently cited source type and language?

The Ottoman Manuscripts and The Projects of Digitizing The Manuscripts in Turkey

Manuscripts are written memories lighting the scientific development of the period in which they ... more Manuscripts are written memories lighting the scientific development of the period in which they were created. They are also works of art having unique examples of calligraphy, miniature, marbling and bookbinding arts. In recent years, various projects have been realized with the purpose of cataloguing and digitizing of manuscripts in some information centers of Turkey. These projects have developed librarianship of manuscripts in an appreciable way. Important steps have been taken in cataloguing, digitizing, preservation and upkeep. However, some problems stemming from services, which were produced in projects, and the structural situation of the manuscript librarianship, have occurred. In the study, listing the characteristics of the classical Ottoman manuscripts, general information on manuscripts projects, which have been realized in Turkey, are given. The study concludes with the suggestions on cataloguing and digitizing projects due to the manuscript projects and the problems that occur.

Staj uygulamasında esas olan öğrencilerin eğitim aldıkları disipline yönelik iş ve işlemleri yerinde görerek tecrübe etmeleridir. Ancak 2020 yılı Covid-19 salgınından dolayı kurumların stajyer kabul etmemeleri, uygulamaların yerindeliğini sekteye uğratmıştır. Staj uygulamalarının kazanımlarından öğrencilerin mahrum edilmemesi amacıyla arayışa giren bazı bölümler, çözüm için teorik derslerde olduğu gibi, çevrim içi staj programlarına başvurmuşlardır. Consistency in the mentioned sections, will provide the right representation of the focus, scope and intellectual structure of the publications that these writings take place. Through this study it is aimed to reveal the thematic patterns of the peer-reviewed articles published in the Turkish Librarianship journal. With this reason in mind, the thematic structure of the journal content and the changes throughout the process were analysed in the light of word association and network analysis methods, and by using the keywords of every article identified by their own authors. They have always been in the lives of children and adults. Arabian Nights that draw the people's attention to read are one of the most popular examples of dream world. In this book, it is aimed that using of book, library and literacy motifs and their conceptual meanings that could not be used in stories in any way have been tried to examine at Arabian Nights. As a result of the study carried out by considering the Arabian Nights, 52 nights that examine the book, reading, writing a book and writing in fiction have been determined. Thus, book, reading and library motifs are between the basic concepts given in the oeuvre. The content of the work is unique and useful for librarians and literati, historians and folklorists and all people.

Bilgi okuryazarlığı, değişik formatlardaki bilginin bulunması, erişilmesi, değerlendirilmesi, kul... more Bilgi okuryazarlığı, değişik formatlardaki bilginin bulunması, erişilmesi, değerlendirilmesi, kullanılması ve iletilmesi becerileridir. Bu becerilerin kazandırılmasında eğitim kurumları öncelikli sorumludurlar. Üniversiteler de bu becerileri öğrencilere kazandırmak için bilgi okuryazarlığı programları geliştirmelidirler. Bu çalışmada üniversite öğrencilerinin bilgi okuryazarlığına ilişkin konulardaki zorlanma düzeyleri araştırılmıştır. Araştırma kapsamında Hacettepe Üniversitesi (HÜ) 'nde 2003-2004 öğretim yılı itibariyle yüksek lisans öğrenimlerine devam eden 262 kişiye anket uygulanmıştır. Verilerin değerlendirilimesinde "t testi" ve "varyans analizi" kullanılmıştır.

Staj uygulamasında esas olan öğrencilerin eğitim aldıkları disipline yönelik iş ve işlemleri yerinde görerek tecrübe etmeleridir. Ancak 2020 yılı Covid-19 salgınından dolayı kurumların stajyer kabul etmemeleri, uygulamaların yerindeliğini sekteye uğratmıştır. Through this study it is aimed to reveal the thematic patterns of the peer-reviewed articles published in the Turkish Librarianship journal. They have always been in the lives of children and adults. Arabian Nights that draw the people's attention to read are one of the most popular examples of dream world. In this book, it is aimed that using of book, library and literacy motifs and their conceptual meanings that could not be used in stories in any way have been tried to examine at Arabian Nights. As a result of the study carried out by considering the Arabian Nights, 52 nights that examine the book, reading, writing a book and writing in fiction have been determined. Thus, book, reading and library motifs are between the basic concepts given in the oeuvre. The content of the work is unique and useful for librarians and literati, historians and folklorists and all people.

Bu becerilerin kazandırılmasında eğitim kurumları öncelikli sorumludurlar. Üniversiteler de bu becerileri öğrencilere kazandırmak için bilgi okuryazarlığı programları geliştirmelidirler. Bu çalışmada üniversite öğrencilerinin bilgi okuryazarlığına ilişkin konulardaki zorlanma düzeyleri araştırılmıştır. Araştırma kapsamında Hacettepe Üniversitesi (HÜ) 'nde 2003-2004 öğretim yılı itibariyle yüksek lisans öğrenimlerine devam eden 262 kişiye anket uygulanmıştır. Verilerin değerlendirilimesinde "t testi" ve "varyans analizi" kullanılmıştır.
