In reply to: [W3 Total Cache] home page images goneOne more thing, and I just discovered it… The images that are missing are ones that have animation or transition effect applied to them… or they fade in from the top or left. Once I removed the animation, the images show.
Obviously, I have discovered is that the animation is the culprit. Do you know if I can do something in the W3 total cache settings to allow me to still use the animation?
Ditto!

In reply to: Two file paths in FTPThank you for your response and advice, ClaytonJames! The people that host this server are just clueless and so unhelpful. They have me on a wild goose chase about this… because “it must be fixed“ lol

In reply to: Fatal error, memory size exhaustedMy hosting company finally resolved this. Thank you both for your time.

In reply to: Fatal error, memory size exhaustedDid you post you response BEFORE seeing my last one?
Hopefully, this thread won’t close before someone else comes along that might have an idea that is different from the thread you linked me to. I already tried those things, they didn’t work. Also, I am locked out with the error and can’t even access the dash to get to the plugins, or anything.
Also, I have a ticket opened with the hosting company, but they don’t respond over the weekend, and still have not today. I spent my weekend on these forums trying to solve it myself.Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: Fatal error, memory size exhaustedThank you. I could actually tell that is what needed to happen. One thing I didn’t mention above, is that I have researched this problem already, only to find that prior solutions posted don’t work for me. It has something to do with my file placement. My file paths are different that others.
Also, I’m afraid I’m very green, and others might understand how to fix “try increasing memory available for php”, but I’m afraid I need much more guidance than that. I need fairly specific instructions.Forum: Installing WordPress

I’d like to leave this topic open, curious to see if anyone has experience with yoast and elegant themes, together….

In reply to: [Yoast SEO] Should I disable default seo?Thank you iMazed and tizz. So it sounds like I should disable the seo for my theme and only use Yoast… I am filling in all the yoast fields already.
tizz, when you say start over with optimization when changing to a new theme, do you mean yoast optimization?
