Hi @daxatds9,
Actually, you are using the acceptance form field of the Elementor form. There might be an issue with this field with our plugin conditions when you add required attribute to the field. We will fix this issue in our next update. For now, you can use a checkbox field inside your form, instead of this field or you can remove the required attribute from it, and then it should work fine for you.
Thank you.
Hi @daxatds9,
Could you please provide the URL of your site page where you are using our plugin, and also share some screenshots of the editor site where you are creating conditions for your form?
Thank you.
Hi @freddela,
If you use quotation marks with the text, then by default, this comes in the HTML entities. In the plugin, we are simply comparing the values – that is, the value of the targeted ID and the value to compare – in a simple format. However, if you add any type of symbols, then it adds like an HTML entity, and then compares that entity with the pure simple text. That’s why it is not working in your case. But we will address this in our next update. Thanks for understanding.
Thank you.
Hi @freddela,
Sorry, but the current version does not support comparison with HTML Character Entities.
Thank you.
Hi @marcotettam,
I have tested this issue on our end, but everything is working fine with the select form field. There is no dummy data within my select field when changing to the select field. The issue may be related to other plugins on your site. You can try deactivating your other plugins one by one to isolate the issue. Additionally, please share your browser console logs if you encounter any errors there.
Also, if possible, you can remove the “required” attribute from your form select fields that are inside the condition. This will prevent the addition of dummy data to the form field, ensuring that your form data works correctly.
Thank you.
Hi @marcotettam,
You have selected your Show/Hide field to hide; that’s why your form conditions are not working well. If you want to show your field if the condition is true, then you have to select “show” not “hide”. However, if you want to hide that field based on the condition, then you should choose the option to hide. Click here to see.
Thank you.
Hi @marcotettam,
One of your select dropdown fields is working with the first select field; however, there is a dropdown field that is still hidden. Perhaps that is the field you are referring to. Could you please share some screenshots of your form where you are adding conditions with our plugin? This will help me understand the situation better and provide you with a better solution. Also, please ensure that you have added the conditions properly to the selected field with the unique ID.
Thank you.
This is the default data when you have added the required field to the form but did not add any value to the main input field. Which input value triggers conditions for the other fields? For instance, if you have an input field named ‘name’ and based on the ‘name’ field you have other fields to show and those fields are required, but you don’t put anything in the ‘name’ field, then it can cause this issue. However, if you want to send correct data, there are two possible ways to resolve this. First, make the ‘name’ field required so users have to add some data to that field, then it will not cause this issue. Second, you can remove all required attributes from the fields that are under the condition of the ‘name’ field, then it should work for you.
Thank you.

In reply to: [Conditional Fields for Elementor Form - Display Conditions] Date fieldHi @pierrebir,
The main purpose of the default value inside the conditional fields is to submit the form smoothly when the fields are mandatory (required). It serves as dummy data to fulfill the required field criteria, ensuring that the form submits without any required message warning. If you want to change this behavior, you have to modify the code accordingly. You can use the JavaScript Date object to achieve this.
Thank you.
Hi @insyse.
Sorry for the inconvenience. There might be an issue with selecting multiple checkboxes for sending data. To resolve this, you can either create two separate checkboxes instead of one checkbox with two values, or you can use an acceptance form field. Just add a condition: if the acceptance field is off, then show these fields. Then it should work for you.
Thank you.
