In reply to: [Chaplin] Changed alignment after WordPress update to 6.5?Hi @woltersthisj,
The ticket has been closed but the fix didn’t make it into 6.5.2, so I’m hoping it’ll be included in 6.5.3.

In reply to: [Abisko] Does Abisko love WooCommere?Hi @jensflammann,
Abisko doesn’t have any WooCommerce specific features, patterns or styles, but it should work about as well as most other block themes.

In reply to: [Chaplin] Changed alignment after WordPress update to 6.5?@woltersthijs Of course! There’s been some movement in the thread, so I’m crossing my fingers there’ll be a fix in 6.5.1.

In reply to: [Chaplin] Changed alignment after WordPress update to 6.5?Hi @wolterthisj,
It seems this is a bug in WordPress 6.5 affecting all classic themes setting a maximum width for Wide blocks with CSS. I’ve created an issue for the bug in the Gutenberg repository. For now, you can revert to WordPress 6.4 to fix the issue.

In reply to: [Chaplin] Rounded cornersHi @el-molino,
Go to Appearance → Customize → Additional CSS (the menu labels might be different in your language) and add the code below:
.wp-block-group:has( > .wp-block-group__inner-container > .wp-block-embed-youtube ) { border-radius: 8px; }
Let me know if that does it.

In reply to: [Chaplin] Rounded cornersHi @el-molino,
I can’t see a block wrapping the embedded video on the linked page. Can you be more specific about which block you mean?

In reply to: [Chaplin] Update Editor StylesHi @4blkstars,
I would like to update Chaplin to work better with more recent versions of WordPress at some point, but I don’t have any current plans for it.
You don’t need to use CoBlocks to use the theme – many of the CoBlocks features are included in Core now.
The no-title template is for pages where you want to build all of the content yourself, allowing you to place the main heading wherever you want it in the page content.
The way Chaplin is built makes it very tricky to create a centered page layout and have it be the default. You can add a centered content column to a page set to the wide layout, but blocks set to the wide or full alignment inside that centered content column won’t be have as expected.
Making changes through a child theme is definitely recommended, yes. It’s likely I will release another update to Chaplin at some point, and that update will overwrite any changes you make directly to the theme files.

In reply to: [Radcliffe] Submenu Dropdown AppearanceHi @captncrunch,
This should be fixed in version 2.1.2, which was just submitted. Install the update, clear the cache, and let me know.

In reply to: [Rowling] Image caption misalignedHey @heartfulcraft,
You’re using a plugin to include some custom CSS on the site, and in that CSS, you’re setting all paragraphs to have bottom margin. That’s the CSS that’s causing the caption (which contains a paragraph) to be misaligned.

In reply to: [Baskerville] Any way to add linked social icon in nav bar?Hey @beersmelissa,
It’s possible, but not out of the box. You’d have to modify the code for the header in the theme with a child theme. There might be WordPress plugins that allow you to add social links with icons in the navigation as well, but I don’t know of any off the top of my head.

In reply to: [Koji] How do I remove the underline in link in the menuHi @avenus91,
Go to Appearance → Customize → Additional CSS (the menu labels might be different in your language) and add the code below:
.site-nav .current-menu-item > a { text-decoration: none; }
Let me know if that does it.

In reply to: [Tove] Trouble Setting Logo in Tove Theme@criptoclassitalia No problem! The image you’ve posted isn’t loading for me, unfortunately.
Could you try repeating the steps in a different browser? Just in case there’s a browser specific JavaScript thingy causing the issue.

In reply to: [Björk] show “sidebar” on mobile?@marshallyx Björk is set to hide the column with the CSS class
site-sidebar-col
on mobile. If you remove that class from the column on all templates included in the theme, the column will remain visible on mobile as well.You’ll probably need to make some additional tweaks to make it look decent when the two columns (sidebar and content) are stacked, though.
