    Hello,

I don’t know if this has to do with Blocksy, but it happened after the latest Blocksy Update (WordPress was 6.2.2 at the time, but has since been updated to 6.3).

So, the visual editor (Gutenberg) is now broken. It is not WYSIWYG anymore, but seems to have lost all styling. I cannot use most of the authoring tools anymore, because I don’t see their effect. Although the preview is still formatted fine (as are the real webpages). I’ll include a screenshot of how the editor looks for this post on my website:

Maybe someone can shed any light on this or has any thoughts what I could try?

Is it possible to downgrade Blocksy just to see whether that could be an issue?

    Kind regards,

    Ulrich

  • Hi @ulim and @cteduard – I don’t know if this helps but I had exactly the same problem (but I am using Genesis) – I traced the issue to the CoBlocks plugin…

    Cheers,

My visual editor had a similar (but slightly different) problem–all the WYSIWYG blocks are out of place. The good news is at least the front end still looks normal.

Screen-capture video of the problem: https://youtu.be/xEcfGDUjK2E

From this video, you can see that the top 30% of my blocks have all fallen out of my screen.
And, the bottom 20% of my blocks all suddenly have a dark background, making it hard to see my text (this doesn’t affect the front end).

It happened soon after the WP 6.3 update, so I tried:
    – re-installing the 6.3 version
    – changing theme
    – disabling any plugins that were auto-updated in the last 3 days prior to the problem.

    The problem still persists.

    Hello @gumballsmachine

Hmm, did you try actually disabling all plugins one by one to see if anything changes?

Seeing as you have already tried the changing theme test, I’m not sure if we can be of much help from our side, as this seems to be some kind of underlying problem with your install.

Please give disabling all plugins one by one a go. That should get you closer to finding the culprit.

    Thanks

Thank you @cteduard . I found the problematic plugin.
