    Hi,

I have 4 products where I have used the plugin. On 2 products, it is working absolutely right, and on the other two, it is not working. I am on version: Version 4.9.2  of the plugin.

    Working fine on:

    • NOT working correctly on:
    • [ redundant links removed ]

The order total amount is different from the basic product amount even without choosing any options.

I am on the latest version of the plugin. Also, I tried to look at the previous staging version of the website, and I realised this discrepancy existed for over a month or a little more.

Please suggest what is to be done in this case.

    Thanks,
    Kanika

    Hello there,

    I hope you’re doing well 😀

I checked your site and the url you sent me and I see a 403 error on an ajax call needed by our plugin in order to update the totals table.

Probably for this reason the plugin doesn’t work. See the following link

I suggest you to check your configuration and see if a firewall or other plugin are blocking this ajax call.

Please, try it and let me know.

    Have a good day.

    Hi,

I have built this website but I am not a developer. When I installed this plugin, their was no Ajax related issue for the longest time. So I don’t know how to fix this as I don’t have a developer on my end.

In this case how do you make the plugin friendly for non tech folks… like me?

    Thanks,

    Kanika

Also, I have 4 products on my website using this plugin. Out of which, 2 are working fine and 2 are not. If Ajax is the problem, all 4 would have an issue. Below 2 links of the products working fine with the plugin.

Variation – Shankh Electric Diffuser with Wax Melts Gift Box

    Gift Box – Paisley Candles

    Hello there,

    I hope you’re doing well :D.

Probably you cleared the cache or fixed it because now I can see the price calculation changes when in the original url with problem.

See the following link with my test

Please, try it and let me know.

    Have a good day.

    Hi,

The base price is 499 (read below the product name) not 749 (mentioned as order total—just above ‘Add to cart’ button). Variation – Matki TLight Diffuser With Wax melts Gift Box

250 and 500 are getting added to order total 749. They should be added to base price of 499.

By default: the “base price” should be equal to the “Order total”. (this rule is not getting met, hence the problem)

Only when user selects a different option extra 250 gets added to base price and then order total = base price (499) + extra amount (250 or 500, based on the option selected)

But the same plugin is working fine for the below 2 products.

Variation – Shankh Electric Diffuser with Wax Melts Gift Box

    Gift Box – Paisley Candles

Let me know if you see any differently.

    Thanks

    Hi,

Hoping you went through the details I explained above.

Any thoughts around why the plugin it is working on 2 products and not working on the other two?

    Thanks,

    Kanika

    Hi there,

I can see the admin ajax request is failing with a 403 Forbidden, so we kindly suggest to contact hosting provider in order to investigate this issue.

It could be related to cache, security or even permissions for some reason.

    Have a great day!

Checking with the hosting provider. I am little confused that why it will work correctly on 2 products and not work rightly on the other 2.

Anyways, I will update here based on my conversation with Hostinger team.

    Thanks,

Alright so the hosting team checked on their end. I will share all the details here. Their last message is

“Can you help me to ask the plugin support, what the error looks like that they found. Then, I will forward it to the technical team, and if the issue is indeed from the server side, we can help it further.”

The entire conversation from Hosting service provider end is pasted here along with the screenshots.

Now they are waiting from inputs from your end wrt error msg. Meanwhile if you want me to check anything else from them please let me know..

    Thanks,

Hi, Its been long. Can you please share the error message details? I have upgraded to latest version of the plugin and yet the issues persist. Hosting service provider can help if only you could help me with the exact error when admin ajax request is failing.

    Thanks,
