Please stay tuned for future updates in this forum thread. We will be providing additional information and updates on the progress of our fixes.
We wanted to provide you with an update regarding the recent issue. We’re happy to share that Facebook has acknowledged the incident, and we have implemented a temporary fix to address it.
However, it’s important to note that there is still a pending review from Facebook on this matter. While we have taken immediate action to resolve the most urgent aspects, we are awaiting final confirmation from Facebook.
In order to verify the fix, we kindly ask you to regenerate the token for your Instagram account using the following links:
This doesn’t work (at the minute?). I don’t get a Token to add it manually.
I tried logging in via the “Add Personal Account” button first, after there was the error message “Error: 400: Bad Request” on the frontend, but this didn’t work either. I got the following message in the WordPress backend (after logging in to the Instagram account): “Du bist leider nicht berechtigt, auf diese Seite zuzugreifen.” what means something like “Unfortunately, you are not authorised to access this page.”
Yes, I can connect a business account. For me it is happening only with personal accounts.
There is an issue from Facebook part because it is not generating the correct access token in the cookies, either that or their code is not verifying it correctly.
