Hi @tobiasbg I noticed another thing. Copy and click paste doesn’t work for me. But click copy and the ctrl+v works. Is it possible to fix this? 🙂
Hi @danniee001,
to clarify, do you mean the “Copy” and “Paste” entries from the context menu?
These (the “Paste” in particular) are a bit special, as they need to use JavaScript code to access the system’s clipboard. Therefore, the browser normally asks if you want to permit this (otherwise, a bad script could steal the content of your system’s clipboard without you knowing, and this could for example affects passwords). This is working fine in Chrome for example, but I can indeed reproduce this problem in Firefox 🙁 (which you are also using, I believe). I’ll try to find a solution!

Tobias
Thanks for the work as alway Tobias. A lot of my customers are complaining about not being able to select non-adjacent rows in a table, which was so easy with the checkboxes. Any progress on this?
Hi,
no, sorry, nothing new here yet 🙁 This turns out to be rather tricky, unfortunately. Right now, my recommendation would be to try working with the keyboard shortcuts (on single rows/columns), as that seems to be the fastest workaround right now.
Best wishes,
Tobias
Thanks for the prompt reply Tobias 🙂 Is a reversion to checkboxes out of the question? Forgive me for asking!
edit: customer is going to give the keyboard shortcuts a go! Sorry for bugging you.
Hi,
yes, the checkboxes will not be coming back. It’s not really the means of which element to use for selection but the logic behind it, that’s the issue here.
I hope that the shortcuts will help for now 🙂
Best wishes,
Tobias
